Trichology

What is Trichology?

Trichology is the specialty dealing with problems of the hair and scalp; hair loss, baldness, alopecia, scaling, itching, hair breakage, hair damage, and dryness or oiliness of the hair or scalp.

Our qualified trichologists are registered members of the International Association of Trichologists. Members adhere to a strict Code of Ethics.

Trichology covers the medical and nutritional areas that relate to hair and scalp problems. Particularly important are the immune system, the endocrine system and the various hormones, the nervous system, circulatory system, the digestive system and dietary factors.
